About Us

What We Do

Integrated Risk Management assists the campus community in the identification, understanding, and management of operational and strategic risks so that our campus is better prepared to responsibly engage risk in every facet, at every level.

Why We Do It

Risk is an essential element in a flourishing academic environment and must be managed through the lens of the campus mission.  By purposefully and strategically engaging risk, our campus community will continue to thrive while also reducing the chances of loss, thereby creating greater financial stability and protection of our resources.   In practical terms, everyone is a "risk manager," and Integrated Risk Management is here as a resource and partner.

How We Do It

The three pillars of our program:

Expertise and Support Culture Infrastructure
  • Risk consultations, assessments, and education
  • Policy and procedure guidance
  • Program administration (Workers' Compensation, etc.)
  • We believe that promoting risk awareness withing the campus community can empower us to engage in mission activities with confidence.
  • We understand and embrace risk management as not just something we do, but a facet of how we do everything that we do.
  • We strive to be an approachable, responsive, and trusted business partner.
  • We recognize that our campus culture; our collective knowledge, habits, beliefs, and attitudes, are often more impactful to our success than campus policy.
  • Policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Risk assessment forms and methods
  • Risk financing programs
  • Risk transfer tools
