Important
Crash and its likeness must be approved by CSUSM Athletics and the Office of Communications prior to use.
Illustrated Crash
Illustrated Crash may appear in a variety of approved poses. Always use official, authorized artwork from University Communications — never recreate or alter.
Use for campus announcements, internal events, holiday greetings, stickers and merchandise.
Spirit Cougar Head and Banner
A high-recognition spirit mark for university-wide groups and official Campus Recreation sports clubs. Requires approval before any customization to the banner.
Use for university-wide affinity groups (e.g., Alumni Association), time-bound cohorts (e.g., Class of 2026) and official Campus Recreation sports clubs.
Spirit CSUSM Initials and Banner
An alternate spirit banner using the CSUSM initials mark. Same use guidelines as the Cougar head and banner. Requires approval before any customization to the banner.
