Request Photography

Photo requests are intended for official university departments and organizations. University Communications will make every effort to accommodate campus photography needs; however, please note that not all requests fall within our scope of responsibility or can be fulfilled due to time constraints.

Please submit your request at least two weeks before your event and include a brief description of how the photos will be used.

The CSU requires photo release forms to be signed by individuals being photographed (this includes faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members). For large events, it is recommended that you post signage notifying attendees that photos are being taken and may be used on our website, social media or other marketing materials. Please note that photos can't be provided until the signed photo release forms are on file with University Communications.
