Approved Course Lists

For Liberal Studies students with catalog years before FALL 2025, Approved Course Lists (ACL) are color coded based on the year the student started the LBST major or the requirement term.  Each color-coded ACL contains requirements specific to a catalog year, and requirements differ between colors, so it is crucial to follow the correct color-coded requirements. 

For students beginning in Fall 2025, Approved Course Lists will be listed by catalog year. 

You can find your requirement term or catalog year at the top of your ARR or Degree Planner.

FALL 2025 - for students in catalog year FA 2025 

GREEN ESM ACL 2022 - 2024 - for students in catalog years fall 2022,  spring 2023, fall 2023, spring 2024 and fall 2024

GREY ESM ACL 2021 - for students in catalog years fall 2021 and spring 2022

GOLD ESM ACL 2020- for students in catalog years fall 2019, spring 2020, fall 2020 and spring 2021

BLUE ACL - for students in catalog years fall 2016 through spring 2019
