Crisis Response Team
Compassionate Mental & Behavioral Health Crisis Care -- Wherever You Are on Campus
When someone is experiencing a mental or behavioral health crisis, they shouldn't have to find help -- we bring help to them.
The CSUSM Crisis Response Team (CRT) is a team of mental health professionals who provide immediate, in-person crisis intervention for individuals experiencing a mental or behavioral health crisis on campus. Our goal is to provide timely, compassionate support, promote safety, and connect individuals with the care and resources they need.

Unlike traditional counseling services, we come to the individual -- whether they're in a classroom, residence hall, a parking lot, or another location on campus.

FAQ
Who can request CRT?
Anyone concerned about a CSUSM student, faculty member, staff member, guest, or visitor. Do I have to come to the CRT office? No. We come directly to the individual.

No. One of the primary benefits of the Crisis Response Team is that clinicians respond to the individual's location whenever possible.
