Cal State San Marcos students, faculty, staff and community partners are encouraged to volunteer virtually for the 2021 Virtual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service (MLK Day of Service). Virtually volunteer between Thursday, January 15 to Monday, January 18, 2021. Engage in one of the listed virtual volunteer projects below to commemorate the civil rights legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Celebrate the 26th anniversary of this national day of service by treating it as a "day on and not a day off".

This year we are collaborating with the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) to promote the National Day of Service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. By hosting the Cal State San Marcos Virtual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service event on the PIC page, we will provide opportunities for service to anyone searching for San Diego based opportunities. This Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, opt for a "Day On not a Day Off" by committing to serve at least one (1) hour or more to one of the following opportunities. No matter the time frame, we appreciate your willingness to serve community from home!
