    AMWA membership is comprised of physicians, residents, medical students, pre-medical students, health care professionals, and supporters.  AMWA is the oldest multispecialty organization dedicated to advancing women in medicine and improving women’s health.
  • Association for Women in Science
    WIS is a national organization dedicated to achieving equity and full participation of women in science, mathematics, engineering and technology. Founded in 1971, national AWIS serves as a network, a resource, and a voice to achieve this goal.
  • Ellevate Network
    Ellevate Network is a community of professional women committed to helping each other succeed. We use the power of community to help you take the next step in your career.
  • Feminist Majority Foundation Career Center
    National job and internship (both paid and non-paid) listings for feminist positions in both the public and private sector; job seekers looking for work in feminist/progressive organizations can also post their resumes on-line through the site.  Also has a weekly e-bulletin job listing that you can sign up for to receive weekly updates on newly listed feminist jobs/internships.

  • Girl Scouts USA
    Provides links to individual Girl Scout councils across the nation that then have employment listings at the local level
  • Idealist.org:  Action without Borders
    Has U.S. and international job, internship, and volunteer listings for progressive organizations in the non-profit sector.  Can sign up for personalized email updates for job and volunteer opportunities matching your specific interests.
  • National Latina Business Women's Association San Diego Chapter
    NLBWA is committed to becoming the country’s leading business resource for Latinas and their families, attracting and embracing the following of women in diverse business sectors and corporate America
  • Social Service.com
    National job listings for social service work in both the public and private sectors.  Can sign up for weekly email updates for current job listings matching your interest.  For a fee, can post your resume on the site for view by potential employers.
  • Webgrrls International
    Has U.S. and international job listings in technology for women that can be accessed by members (membership has a fee of $35.00 for an unemployed student rate).  Members can also post their resume on-line through the site. Also has career planning and building advice.
  • Women in Business San Diego
    are to provide a forum for increasing professional development, personal growth and visibility – all factors that enable women to exert influence over and shape their worlds.
