Eligibility Requirements
- You must be a full-time student enrolled at CSUSM at the time of the internship
- You must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Biotechnology or Biology at the time of the internship
- You must be 18 years of age by the start of the internship
- You must be eligible to work full-time in the United States during the entire duration of the internship (Note: If you qualify under DACA provisions, please reach out to our program coordinator Madilyn Areskog (mareskog@csusm.edu) to confirm your eligibility).
Components of the Application
- Personal Statement describing why you are interested in this internship, your level of knowledge in biotechnology research and your interest in regenerative medicine.
- An updated Curriculum Vitae or Resumé, no more than 1 page.
- A copy of unofficial/official transcripts for high school and all colleges attended.
- One letter of recommendation is required. Ideally, the letter should be from a faculty member that can attest to your abilities in a laboratory setting. You will need the name and e-mail for the people you are requesting letters from for the application. Please contact your letter writer prior to submitting the application and make them aware that they will receive an automated request for the letter. The letters will be directly sent to the program coordinator as mentioned at the application link below.
