Dean's List

Making the CHABSS Dean's List

2019 Dean's List Student

Making the Dean’s List and staying on it is not easy. It is an accomplishment to be proud of, especially when the average student is balancing school, work, kids, partner, and a myriad of competing priorities.

To celebrate the exceptional commitment Dean’s Listers make to excelling in their studies, CHABSS hosts a number of Dean’s List Mixers during the academic year.

To qualify for the undergraduate Dean's List at the conclusion of a semester, the student must have completed a minimum of 12 units of graded Cal State San Marcos coursework (A, B, C, D, F) during that semester with at least a 3.50 grade point average. The Dean’s List is processed after grades are official following the Fall and Spring semesters only.

For Fall, students can expect to receive their letters no later than February. For Spring, students can expect to receive their letters no later than July. Letters are sent to student’s CSUSM email address on file with Enrollment Management Services.

If you do not receive your Dean’s List letter and you believe you are eligible (see criteria above), please contact the CHABSS Dean’s Office (chabss@csusm.edu). Your request must include the semester of eligibility, student ID number, and contact information: full name, email address and telephone.
