Strategic Plan

Mission

The mission of New Student & Family Programs is to orient and support CSUSM students and their families in a successful transition throughout their first year. Through innovative and inclusive programs and practices, informed by the Co-Curricular Model, New Student & Family Programs builds connections to academic resources and involvement opportunities in support of retention and attainment to degree. Programs are intentionally designed to foster a sense of belonging and Cougar spirit, providing a foundation for holistic student development.
