New Student Orientation

Welcome to CSUSM

Congratulations on your admission to California State University San Marcos! Orientation is a critical component to a successful transition to CSUSM.  At Orientation, you will have the chance to hear from fellow incoming students, attend information sessions about your college, and more!

As a result of participating in Orientation, students will:

• Experience a sense of belonging in the CSUSM Cougar Community, participate in campus traditions and rituals, and demonstrate campus pride.
• Articulate a minimum of five existing academic success, wellness, and co-curricular resources and how to access them.

Understand the importance of involvement during the collegiate experience and will be introduced to the Co-Curricular Model.
