Position Description

The Orientation Team (O-Team) is responsible for welcoming new students and their families to the CSUSM community and providing a positive Orientation experience for the new members of our CSUSM community through assisting with the implementation of Orientation sessions. New Student & Family Programs selects a team of volunteer student leaders to serve on the O-Team each year. Make sure to review the detailed position description and mandatory time commitments here:

Application Checklist

To complete your application, follow the steps below:

1) Complete and submit the online application:

New Orientation Team Leader Application

2) Complete a 30-minute Individual Interview via Zoom (Orientation Team staff will follow up with you via email to schedule your interview after you submit your application)

3) Participate in the Group Interview (Orientation Team staff will provide information about the Group Interview via email after you submit your application and complete the Individual Interview)

Please note that you must finish all three of these steps to complete your application. Applicants with incomplete applications will not be considered for a position on the team.
