**The CSUSM Master of Public Health (MPH) Program is a CEPH Accredited Master’s Program**

The Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) is an independent agency recognized by the US Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs offered in settings other than schools of public health. These schools and programs prepare students for entry into careers in public health. The primary professional degree is the Master of Public Health (MPH) but other master’s and doctoral degrees are offered as well. Visit www.ceph.org for more information

The CSUSM MPH Program accreditation date is recorded as October 7, 2017. The term extends to July 1, 2026.

All CSUSM Programs and degrees are accredited through WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission)

Re-accreditation News for 2026: The CSUSM Department of Public Health is currently undergoing review by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) for re-accreditation. Part of this process includes the provision of a third-party comment period, which allows anyone, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, community and practice partners, and members of the public, to share relevant information about the program directly with CEPH.
