Aspiration Scholarship

The Aspiration Scholarship supports the development of professional skills by funding graduate education in select fields designed to improve life in San Diego County. This scholarship awards up to $30,000 over the course of a student's academic career.

As a scholarship focused on uplifting future public health professionals with a commitment to helping local communities in San Diego County, the Aspiration Scholarship application is only available to hybrid-modality students in the Health Promotion and Health Education concentration.

Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate:

Past academic performance
A commitment to Public Health as a field of study
A drive to improve the quality of life in San Diego County
Financial need

Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20th.

MPH Health Equity Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to Master of Public Health students each year who demonstrate a commitment to upholding principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and who are committed to addressing health disparities through service and/or research and who meet a minimum 3.25 GPA requirement. Scholarship is offered to incoming MPH students and is renewable if student continues to meet original scholarship criteria.
