Audio Visual Support
The University Student Union event spaces come with basic built in audio / visual, including data projectors and an overhead speaker system with wireless microphones. Audio/Video needs can be addressed through packages listed in the document below, which are designed to meet the needs of the majority of our customers. Miscellaneous equipment available upon request. Ballroom AVIT resources require an Assistant Technician for set up and take down with a 2hr minimum upon reservation. Meeting Rooms spaces do not require a Technician but are available upon request.
The amphitheater at the USU does not have built-in audio/ visual equipment. Groups reserving the amphitheater will either be required to rent the necessary equipment or to ensure that their performers bring their own equipment. Both scenarios may require the assistance of the USU technical support staff.
Event organizers and/or performers who wish to use their own audio / visual equipment must notify the USU at least ten (10) working days in advance. An equipment test may be necessary for outside equipment to ensure compatibility, and must be scheduled prior to the event. The USU assumes no responsibility for equipment brought into the facility. Audio / visual equipment belonging to the USU may only be used on USU premises.
