The California State University San Marcos Psychology Department, the CSUSM Chapter of Psi Chi, and the CSUSM Psychology Student Organization invite you to attend and submit your work to the Annual Psychology Student Research Conference. Students from any college or university are welcome to attend and participate!

This is a great opportunity for students to learn about research, graduate school, and career opportunities, build their CV/resume, and have fun all at the same time. All events will include:

  • A keynote address by Dr Franki Kung, Assistant Professor of Psychological Science in the College of Health and Human Sciences at Purdue University
  • A career panel
  • A graduate school panel
  • Student posters sessions and brief (blitz) talks:
    • While we encourage you to submit/present your work, you do not need to in order to attend the conference – there’s something fun and useful for all who attend!
    • If you are interested in submitting your own work, coursework or lab work counts!

There will also be a luncheon for those interested! The luncheon is a great opportunity to meet and socialize with poster/talk presenters, other students, and faculty. Box lunches will be available for advance purchase (come back soon for information about purchasing tickets), but you can also bring your own lunch to the luncheon.

Abstracts (150-word description of your own research or a class project) are due Friday, March 31st, 2023 at 11:59 PM.
