Overview

California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) combines the ambiance of a mid-sized, personal, modern campus with the unequaled value of the California State University. Since its founding in 1989, the campus has distinguished itself with its use of state-of-the-art facilities which creatively brings a vision to life for groups from 10 to 1,000+. CSUSM is located on a 304-acre hillside overlooking the city of San Marcos. It is 15 miles east of the ocean and just 30 miles north of downtown San Diego.

Event and Conference Services is comprised of a highly responsive, customer service oriented team of professionals providing the campus and outside clientele/ partners an array of services to make your program a success.

  • Meeting, event, and conference spaces including auditoriums, classrooms for breakout sessions, and dining services.
  • Unique entertaining opportunities indoor and outdoors.
  • Athletic facilities for Summer camps or team-building exercises.

Our ability to maximize the use of state-of-the-art facilities and creatively bring a vision to life for groups from 10 to 1,000+ allows the client to enjoy their event from start to finish!

Campus Event Scheduling Timeline
NEW TIMELINE: Event and Conference Services will be implementing a new event scheduling timeline for all events effective immediately. These annual deadlines are in place to ensure campus event reservations are equitable for the campus community and entered into 25Live by a specific deadline prior to each semester.
