Pay for Orientation

Orientation is a fee based program, meaning that without the fee, we cannot offer this service to our new students and their families. When students create an Orientation reservation in their MyCSUSM, the student's account will automatically be charged with an Orientation fee. Students must pay the Orientation fee in full by August 21st, as well as tuition and all other CSUSM fees. Please do not make this payment prior to reserving an Orientation date.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

If you would like to cancel your Orientation reservation, you must contact the Orientation, New Student & Family Programs office at least one week (5 business days) prior to your scheduled Orientation date in order to receive a refund. Please note that fees cannot be refunded after you have already attended an Orientation session, despite any changes in your admissions status or choosing not to attend the university. If you no longer plan on attending CSUSM, please contact BOTH Admissions at and Orientation at as soon as possible!

*Family Orientation sessions are only offered during select First Year Orientation sessions. Guests are otherwise not permitted at Orientation.
