The Department of Communication & Media Studies offers students opportunities to connect their academic interests with real-world experiences through student organizations, internships, undergraduate research, media production, community-engaged learning, conferences, guest speakers, and department events.

Students collaborate with faculty and classmates while exploring communication, media, storytelling, advocacy, creativity, leadership, and civic engagement. These experiences help students build professional networks, strengthen leadership skills, develop creative confidence, and discover how communication and media can make a positive impact in their communities.
