New Student & Family Programs (NSFP) is here to support new students and their families in a successful transition to university life at CSUSM, from admission through the first year. We aim to create a welcoming environment for new students and families, instill a sense of pride in campus spirit and traditions, and connect students and families to services and resources available on campus.
Success Coaching is a collaborative relationship between the student and coach to discover who the student is and how they can be successful. The success coach’s overall goal is to help students perform to the best of their abilities.
The Personalized Academic Success Services (PASS) office provides holistic academic counseling/coaching to help students as they transition to CSUSM. Work with PASS for a one on one meeting or attend one of our Academic Success Strategies workshops. You will learn of resources and academic success tips to help you navigate your first year!
