EOP Conferences

The goals of EOP sponsored conferences are to promote the opportunities, value and attainment of a higher education degree to historically economic and educationally disadvantaged students.  Cal State University San Marcos EOP strives to partner with the local area community colleges and high schools to create and cultivate matriculation pathways to institutions of higher education that includes Cal State San Marcos. Conferences provide venues where essential information and focused programming create and support the student’s pathways.

Conferences programming topics include workshops, presentations, panels related to the transition process. Overview of application and admissions processes to the University and the EOP program; review of the financial aid resources and application process for students; presentation of academic programs at CSUSM; student panel on topics related to the transition experience; motivational/inspirational guest speakers; review of campus resources that are available to students.
