Academic and Personal Counseling

EOP counselors will assist students with academic guidance, progress toward graduation, and provide personal counseling.

First Contact

At EOP First Contact, students will be provided with an overview of program services and program requirements.  All new students must participate in an EOP First Contact session.

EOP provides financial assistance through EOP grant awards.

Peer Mentoring Program

The primary goal of the Peer Mentor Program is to build and cultivate relationships with first year students by leading one-on-one mentoring sessions, providing community building events, and creating a workshop series targeting students’ academic and personal needs.

Priority Registration

First year and incoming transfer EOP students are eligible for two semesters of priority registration.

Summer Bridge

An intensive 4-6 week transition program offered to select EOP First Year students that provide an opportunity to improve math and writing skills, to successfully transition to the University, and to build a supportive network with other EOP students.

Transfer Bridge

The EOP Transfer Bridge program is a two day experience intended to facilitate the transition of EOP students matriculating from community colleges to a university setting.
