In addition to regular meetings, the Literature and Writing Club hosts a variety of events open to members and non-members alike. Come show your support, hear from our talented community, and have some fun!
Interested in reading your own work? Looking for inspiration? Stop by the Literature and Writing Club's Open Mic. Listen to club members and the writing community share as they explore different styles, topics and emotions.
We heard from so many creative writers on the 10th! It was wonderful to see the room so full, and see everyone who wanted to share have the chance to. At this truly open mic we heard a variety of styles and genres from love and loss to fantasy and abstract. Join us at the next Open Mic, and maybe bring something to read!
Show your support for our Literature and Writing Club by having Panda Express for lunch on Thursday, October 17th! Bring a hard copy of the flier, a mobile version on your device, or use code 274177 online. Twenty percent of proceeds will go directly to the Literature and Writing Club to support events, open mics and more!
The Literature and Writing Club is hosting a special open mic Thursday (11/7) from 6-8pm at the USU Amphitheater. The event is called “Inner Voices” and the theme is Mental Health Awareness. Due to it’s heavy topic, we will have representatives from Student Health and Counseling Services in case the material presented is sensitive or triggering to some.
If anyone would like to present, they can message us on our Instagram: @ltwrclub_csusm or show up to the event as we may open the floor if time permits. This event is free and open to the public, so we encourage all to come!
Check back for more upcoming events, and don't forget to follow us on Instagram for the most up to date information!
