Our Mission
At the College of Business Administration, we aim to support the financial needs of our fully employed MBA students and help them achieve their educational goals. The FEMBA Summer Tuition Grant is designed to provide financial assistance to those in their final semester, helping them complete their degree with reduced financial strain.
Overview
FEMBA Tuition Grant

Purpose: The FEMBA Tuition Grant supports eligible students with financial need who are entering their final semester in the Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) program. This grant aims to increase accessibility to the FEMBA program for students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.

Award Details:
- Amount: Between $1,000 and $4,000 per student.
- Total Disbursement: $1,000 - $10,000 annually.
- Number of Awards: 1-5 awards each year.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Enrollment: Students must be entering their final semester of the FEMBA program.
- Academic Performance: A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Financial Need: Financial need must be demonstrated to qualify for the grant.
- Ranking: Only students in the top 20% of the program based on GPA and units completed are considered.

The Financial Aid & Scholarships Office identifies eligible students based on GPA, completed units, and demonstrated financial need, ensuring the grant is awarded to those meeting all criteria.

MBA Professional Fee Grant

Purpose: This grant helps to cover the additional Graduate Business Professional Fee required for CSU’s state-supported graduate business programs, including the Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) program at CSUSM. It supports students with demonstrated financial need to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent them from completing their MBA.

- Enrollment: Students must be enrolled in the FEMBA program

Awarding Process:

Students do not need to apply directly for the MBA Fee Grant. Once a financial aid package (e.g., FAFSA) is submitted, the Financial Aid Office will review all eligible packages and automatically identify students who meet the need-based criteria for the grant.
