Ticket Appeal Information

Submittal of a Ticket appeal/administrative review does not mean that the parking ticket will be dismissed.

Ticket appeals must be submitted within 21 calendar days from the date of the ticket or within 14 calendar days from the date of the “Notice of Delinquent Parking Ticket” that is mailed to the registered owner.  Late submittals will not be accepted and the fine must be paid with any applicable late fees.

Or by visiting, calling, or e-mailing Parking Adjudication.  Parking Adjudication is located in (PSB 63). Phone: (760) 750-7505, and e-mail: parkingadjudication@csusm.edu. Please allow up to 10 weeks for the ticket appeal/ administrative review process to complete. 

You will receive the results via U.S. Mail at the address you provide on the form.  You can check the status of your appeal online, or can call (760) 750-7505, or email:  parkingadjudication@csusm.edu. Parking Adjudication is not responsible for US mail deemed undeliverable due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

If the ticket has been upheld and you wish to request an Administrative Hearing (level 2), you must complete the Request for Administrative Hearing packet and deposit the full penalty amount of the parking citation within 21 calendar days from the mailing date of the Administrative Review Determination Letter.  The packet can be completed in the Parking and Commuter Services office.  A Hearing will not be scheduled until the forms are completed and turned in and the penalty amount deposited.  For further information, please see: Administrative Hearing (Level 2)
 

If the ticket is dismissed, you do not pay the penalty amount and the ticket case is closed.  No further action is required.
