Committee and Subcommittee Charges
Staff Center Committee Charge
The CSUSM Staff Center Committee has three primary charges:
- Define the mission and vision of the center. (COMPLETED)
- With the understanding that the Center has been allocated an interim director who
will work with the committee to begin services in September, recommend Center services,
which may include providing opportunities for social interaction, peer support and
professional development; wellbeing programs, and referrals to on-campus and off-campus
resources.
- Providing ongoing recommendations to the director.
Subcomittee Charges
The Professional and Career Development Subcommittee is charged with:
- Brainstorming ideas for events, resources and programming that fit within the theme.
- Providing frequent reports to the SCC to gain approval for ideas and/or updates on
progress.
- Work with the director and SCC to implement approved ideas.
Media and Communications (Newsletter) Subcommittee is charged with brainstorming ideas, and developing and publishing the
Center’s newsletter
New Employee Meet & Greet Subcomittee:
- Supporting and handling all logistics for the event.
- Sending special invitations to recent new hires. Those who have been hired since the
last event or within the past three months.
- Rotating attendance to help facilitate the event.
- Recruiting members from the full committee to attend.
