FormLab 3+ (Resin Printer)

The FormLab 3+ is a liquid resin material 3D printer.  This Stereolithography (SLA) printer composes high-quality 3D objects by using a high-powered laser to harden liquid resin into it’s desired 3D solid object. It’s accompanying post-processing steps involve washing the 3D printed object in Isopropyl alcohol (utilizing the Form Wash device) and curing the object under UV curing lights (utilizing the Form Cure device). Object features can be easily adjusted and printing times average 4-6 hours for small scaled objects. Use of this device would be most appropriate for intricate 3D models using a variety of resin materials.

Dremel DigiLab 3D45 (Filament Printer)

The Dremel DigiLab 3D45 is a 3D printer that can print using advanced filament types such as nylon, polycarbonate, PLA, and eco-ABS.  It’s direct heat extrusion head deposits filament one layer at a time. Print times and material costs for this device are usually less than the FormLab 3+ printer. Use of this device would be most appropriate for high quality 3D models using a variety of different filaments.  

GlowForge Pro (Laser Cutter)

The GlowForge Pro is a laser cutting device that can cut wood, fabric, paper, leather, acrylic, mylar, rubber, glass, aluminum, etc. 

Use of this device would be most appropriate for cutting, scoring and engraving applications.
