Quick Pitch Competition
Our Spring 2025 Quick Pitch Event will be held on:
Wednesday, April 23, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Participants are challenged to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit at the Quick Pitch competition, hosted by the Innovation Hub each semester! Inspired by the hit TV show "Shark Tank," this exciting event invites students from diverse academic backgrounds to present their innovative business ideas. It is a platform where creativity knows no bounds, and participants have the opportunity to impress a panel of judges with their pitches.
The Quick Pitch competition is your chance to shine and turn your dreams into reality. Join us each semester for an electrifying experience that celebrates innovation and fosters the next generation of visionary leaders.
The Innovation Hub’s Quick Pitch Competition will award a winning student or student group and runners up with cash prizes!

- Submissions are due: Monday, April 7 at 11:59 pm (midnight)
- Submission Evaluations: April 8 - 10
- Participants are notified if they are a finalist: Thursday, April 10
- Selected finalists to attend the Quick Pitch Workshop, Wednesday, 4/16 at 1pm at the Innovation Hub
- Participants selected for the finals PowerPoints are due: April 22 at 11:59 pm (midnight)
- Quick Pitch Competition: Wednesday, April 23, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm, The Innovation Hub, ELB 102
- Submissions are due: Monday, April 7 at 11:59 pm (midnight)
Meet the Fall 2024 Winners
- Elijah Mattfeld won 1st place for his self-philanthropy business, "Philantree".
- Jakob Hatlestad took 2nd place with his fall detection device, "FreeFall."
- Astrid Russell, Jailen Trinidad, and Edward Valle placed 3rd for their pitch called "PeriMenovo."
