Machine Learning, a subset of artificial intelligence, is a rapidly advancing technology that is being actively developed by all major technology companies.  Higher education is also beginning to look at the implications of moving beyond simple search results to systems that can advise, direct, and respond to students.

  • Already here with Siri, Cortana, Alexa, Watson, Einstein…and many more

  • Predictive analytics and data mining to make use of social media chatter

  • Have outside data convenient as the campus rolls out "new to us" things
