Three Words to Describe MyselfRespectful, Diligent, AmbitiousMost Prized PossessionA camera my mom and dad bought me for my 15th birthday. It has alot of pictures that remind me of how far along I have come and how much I still have left to grow.
My favorite spot on campus is Founder’s Plaza. Not only does it have a really good coffee cart, Campus Coffee, but it always shows me how much the University has grown. The first buildings to be on campus are those surrounding the founder’s seal, which are Craven Hall, Science Hall I, and Academic Hall. It represents the growth we continue to have as a campus and how far along we are coming.
My best memory is the excitement students show when coming to campus. Especially when they tell you they already got admitted and when the tour ends they tell you that they are going to commit to CSUSM.
Try to get involved! It helps so much with making new connections and it also helps with figuring out potential career options. Getting involved on campus such as being in a club, in greek life, sports, and so on will also make your college experience more memorable. If you want a job that is involving your major the University offers virtual career fairs that’ll have employers seeking for students in a specific department.
I want to work with students. My dream job is to teach Chemistry and continue doing research in the industry.

Hey y’all! I am a fourth year Psychology major. I have been with CSUSM for a while now and been a part of some amazing teams starting with the Resident Hall Council in housing. I have also been a Resident Advisor and Community Service Officer. I am thrilled to be a Pride Ambassador and to share my love and knowledge of the CSUSM community with y’all.
There is a park bench between the University Bookstore and the rest of the Commons. It has a beautiful scene of trees, grass and a small bit of the city. It is calm, peaceful and the perfect place to eat lunch or do homework.
Having been on campus for so long, I have made so many amazing memories, but my favorite by far is having met my best friend.

Go to as many school events as you can, you never know who you’ll meet or what you’ll get to experience; some can be super cheesy but never turn down anything free especially when the school year is starting!

Hello everyone! I am a third-year child development major. I am a PASO scholar; I have also been part of the Dean’s list for the past 3 semesters. A fun fact about me is that I am mildly allergic to cats but I have a pet cat. I personally love going out with friends and just relax, go out to eat at new places as well as visiting places we’ve seen online.

My favorite spot at campus would be a small place by Craven Hall, it looks like a safe spot with many trees creating nice shade, with a few benches there to sit at and relax. From time to time, I go there to do my homework or just read a delightful book!
My best memory at CSUSM was during my second year, when I first came to campus to visit The Alliance office. I felt so welcomed and it was a nice feeling to have because I was still unfamiliar with campus due to staying online my whole Freshman year.
My advice for students would be to always have compassion for yourself. Being a college student comes with its challenges but if you are compassionate towards yourself and open yourself to this community, you will see that you are welcomed and supported by CSUSM.
My dream is to go into School or Counseling Psychology and work with students.
