New Student & Family Programs (NSFP) is here to support new students and their families in a successful transition to university life at CSUSM, from admission through the first year. We aim to create a welcoming environment for new students and families, instill a sense of pride in campus spirit and traditions, and connect students and families to services and resources available on campus.

Fall 2027 Admission

• October 1, 2026: Applications open
• Submit your 2026-2027 FAFSA and CADAA
• December 31, 2026: Priority Application Deadline
• February 15, 2027: Initial Transcript & Test Scores Deadline
• Cougar Blue Day, April 10, 2027: Orientation Reservations Open
• May 1, 2027: Intent to Enroll Deadline
