Nitzan Gilady

Nitzan Gilady is a director/producer/scriptwriter of the documentary films “Jerusalem is Proud to Present”, “Family Time” “In Satmar Custody” and “The Last Enemy”. His films have received numerus international awards, participated in many international film festivals and broadcast in prestigious TV channels over the world (among them: Sundance channel and ZDF-ARTE). In 2015 his first feature film titled "Wedding Doll" which he directed, wrote and produced, won three International award at Jerusalem Film Festival 2015, Premiered in Toronto film festival, received nine Israeli academy award nominations and received two- Best actress and best custom.  

 Mr. Gilady is a graduate of the Academy of arts "Circle in the Square" (New York). He is a senior lecture at The Academy Institute of Holon (for 20 years) - visual communication department. As visiting artist, Gilady taught at Emory University and at Wesleyan university in the US. In 2004 Gilady has received a grant for the art of cinema initiated by the Ministry of education, culture and sport given to outstanding Israeli filmmakers and film professionals.
