The Staff Nominations and Elections Committee (SNEC) is excited to share with you an opportunity to lend your insight and voice to the Staff Nominations and Elections Committee (SNEC).  We are seeking one staff member from each staff union, a Confidential staff representative, and an unrepresented Auxiliary (CSUSM Corp) Staff representative.

The SNEC is asking for a two-year commitment from all committee members. Beginning in fall, hybrid meetings will be held no more than twice a month while establishing and training new committee members. Thereafter, meetings only as needed.

Composition of the Committee

The SNEC is comprised of one elected representative from each staff union, a Confidential Staff representative, and unrepresented Auxiliary (CSUSM Corp) Staff representative.

Responsibilities of the SNEC include

• Collecting all nominations for Staff representatives on campus committees
• Establishing the candidate list for the election
• Overseeing the election process
• Announcing the winning candidates
• NEC members will work together to develop and finalize bylaws, which include:
• The nominations and election process
• The length of service term

Election information will be emailed on June 15
