Implicit Bias Resources
The Faculty Center supports campus-wide efforts to uncover and address implicit bias in all areas of our work, including the RTP process. In Spring 2022, Academic Senate approved changes to the University RTP document that required PRC training on bias in student evaluations of instruction. The Faculty Center in concert with the Office of Inclusive Excellence will offer anti-bias training to reviewers beginning in Fall 2022.
We also encourage faculty and reviewers to consult the Creating an Equitable Review Process Resource Guide developed in partnernship with the Office of Inclusive Excellence.
