Resources Faculty for Issues With Students
Concerns about academics, behavior or personal challenges, non-urgent/non-emergency you can refer students to Cougar Care Network (CCN). CCN is CSUSM’s early support initiative to improve student success, retention, and persistence. Through early alert referrals from campus community members, CCN serves as a safety “net” to assist students who may be experiencing challenges inside or outside of the classroom.
Physical or mental health concerns (non-urgent) can contact or recommend Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS)

Issues for supporting students with disabilities, including accessibility and accommodations for permanent or temporary disabilities (including pregnancy) contact Office of Disability Support Services
Faculty are ‘Mandatory Reporters’ of issues of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, domestic violence, and sexual misconduct. To learn more or report incidents contact Title IX Coordinator
