LTI/Plugin Review Process

The LTI review process goes through several robust internal checks and can take weeks of processing time. LTIs under review are marked as Pending, once a LTI has been reviewed it will either be marked as Implemented or Not Approved.

LTIs that have been requested but are not yet pending are marked as On the Radar. In this phase, interest in an LTI is collected for project prioritization.

LTI Review Cycle

We review plugins by semester. LTIs that meet the request threshold and are submitted by the following dates will be considered for the following semester.

Fall semester (submit by April 30)
Spring semester (submit by September 30)
Summer semester (submit by January 31)

Globally Supported LTIs

Globally supported LTIs are ones that are active for all Canvas users and do not need to have any additional paperwork on file.

Individually Installed LTIs

These LTIs are install on an individual course basis and require an Equally Effective Access Plan (EEAAP) on file*.

If the plugin/LTI you are looking to add is already listed as under review/pending or on the radar, please do not submit it through the Request a Plugin/LTI form.
