Tenure-Track faculty openings:

Director (Professor) -The Director of the School of Nursing provides leadership in the School of Nursing (SON) through innovation and quality management.  The director promotes the mission and vision of the School of Nursing (www.csusm.edu/nursing/), College of Education, Health and Human Services (CEHHS) (www.csusm.edu/cehhs/missionstatement.html), and CSUSM (www.csusm.edu/about/facts/mission.html).  The director must be a skilled leader and communicator able to collaborate to ensure timely transmission of information between the School of Nursing, CEHHS Student Services personnel and relevant state and national credentialing agencies.  As the chief administrator for the purposes of regulation and accreditation, this position includes the responsibility for the management of all personnel and programs, curriculum, budget and student activities.  The director practices and promotes shared governance, the School’s core values and CSUSM as a student-centered university dedicated to teaching excellence and active learning.  The director advocates with college administration and other entities for adequate resources to meet the unit’s ongoing goals.

Visit CSUSM's faculty opportunities webpage for more information about any open lecturer searches in CEHHS.  Minimum qualifications for most positions include a Master's degree or terminal degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field. Salary is commensurate with degree and experience.  Applications are also accepted on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers.
