The TBSN is an IMPACTED program. An undergraduate major is designated as impacted when the number of applications received from fully qualified applicants during the initial filing period exceeds the number of available spaces. Such majors are authorized to use supplementary admission criteria to screen applications. Transfer Applicants are rank-ordered pursuant to Supplemental Admission Criteria outlined on our website. Applicants MUST complete a Transfer Supplemental Application in order to be considered for the Nursing Major.
Transfer Applicants to the TBSN will be reviewed for admission to the alternate major of choice. Decisions for the TBSN major are not completed and communicated until July. Transfer Applicants should plan to submit thier Intent to Enroll and fee based on the alternate major of choice due to limited admissions into the TBSN. Applicants not accepted into the Nursing major by the start of the fall term will not be able to switch majors or apply to the impacted major at a later date.

Applicants are evaluated and rank-ordered by total admission points using Supplemental Admission Criteria. Please view the eligibility requirements and Statistics for our previously-admitted Traditional BSN cohorts to determine if you are competitive for admission to this highly-impacted program.
