 Welcome to the new year! We are continuing to offer information and updates from Senate and  provide important resources as we continue to address Covid19 challenges. Faculty Center

The programs and activities  offered by the Faculty Center are designed to support the professional development of faculty in the areas of teaching and learning, research, and service. 

Academic Senate

The Academic Senate formulates, evaluates, and recommends to the President of the university policies and procedures which pertain to the development, maintenance, and improvement of the University program in academic matters.

The California Faculty Association (CFA) represents all CSU faculty members, including all coaches, counselors, lecturers, librarians, and tenure-line faculty members. CFA negotiates our Collective Bargaining Agreement, promotes academic freedom, and upholds faculty rights.

Please be sure to check out the materials posted on the Faculty Center webpage regarding online teaching in spring 2021.  Great information on such topics as how to prevent Zoom bombing and communicating with students is included. For questions about getting and keeping students enrolled in your courses, please see the information on the Registrar's website.  For questions about Safety protocols, please consult the Return to Campus Guidelines document.

 If you are caring for (or worried about) an older family member, the American Association for Retired Persons (AARP)  has wonderful resources for you/your loved one to access on their "Community Connections" page. This includes opportunities for seniors to connect with volunteers through phone calls or on-line meetings.
