Payment Plans

How does the Payment Plan work?

Installment payment plans allow both resident and non-resident students to pay their tuition and fees over four months for a small fee ($25).

The payment plan consists of all tuition and fees, spread out equally over 4 installments. The $25 payment plan fee is due at the same time as the first installment.

For the Spring '20 term, the first installment and payment plan fee is due no later than Wednesday, January 15th with the remaining installments due February 15th, March 15th, and April 15th.

You cannot sign up for an installment payment plan until after you have registered for classes. If you register for additional classes or make any adjustments to your registration, your amount due are updated equally among the four installments (even if you've already paid the first installment). For example, if you changed your registration, resulting in an increase of $1000, it would result in $250 added to each of the four installments. If this change occurred after you made your first installment, you would owe $250 immediately with the remaining $750 spread out over the three remaining installments. Please pay close attention to the payment amounts and due dates to avoid late fees and having a hold on your account which would prevent any future registrations.

Installment Payment Plans for Extended Learning Students

Installment payment plans are available for Extended Learning students. Installment due dates are the same as posted above; Extended Learning tuition and fees vary, please see Extended Learning Fees for details.

Important Information for Installment Payment Plans

Due dates for installments are fixed and do not adjust. If you register for classes after the first installment's due date the first installment will be due immediately. Any changes to enrollment (resulting in additional fees) after paying the first installment will result in additional dollars owes for the first installment, which will be due immediately. Any additional charges added to your account is spread out equally over 4 installments.

  • Late payments may incur late fees
  • Any changes to your account after you sign-up for a payment plan will update your payment amounts automatically. You are responsible to pay the new amounts in full by each due-date.
  • Missed payments (or rejected checks) may result in an inability to use an installment payment plan for future terms, late fees, having all of your classes dropped, and a hold on your account. If you lose your classes, you may not be able to get back into them due to full classes and wait-lists.
  • Cancellation of your enrollment may result in pro-rated fees charged to your account.
  • Failure to pay may result in additional collection costs, including those associated with referral to a third-party collection agency.

How to Sign Up For the Installment Payment Plan

1. From your Student Center, click the drop-down and select “Enroll in Payment Plan”, and click the arrow.

2. Review the terms and conditions.  Check the button which indicates you agree to the terms and conditions.  Click the yellow “Next” button.

3. Review the installment schedule and instructions.  If you agree to the schedule and instructions, click the yellow “Next” button.

4. Acknowledge your acceptance of enrollment in the installment payment plan by checking the box, and clicking the yellow “Enroll” button.

5. Confirmation page confirms your enrollment in the installment payment plan.
