Faculty Center Professional Development Grant

APPLICATION PROCESS

Please submit the following documents online by the application deadline:

  • Application
  • Travel/Purchase Authorization Form (if funding is being sought for a retroactive project)

To be considered, applications must be complete.

Application:

Grants will be awarded in three categories: teaching, research, and inclusive excellence. The grant funds are available for use from July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024, and projects can be retroactively funded during this time as allowed by existing campus policy and procedure.  A maximum of up to $750.00 will be awarded per faculty member as funds allow. Funds can only be spent per established campus guidelines including adherence to any needed prior approval and spending processes.

** Faculty who have been awarded in the past must have submitted a PDG final report to the Faculty Center for the current application to be considered.

Grant applications are due Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

Please do not include your name or department in your statement. Identify which type of award below is being sought. A detail of the types of activities supported under the different award categories is provided under Eligibility.
All statements must adhere to the prescribed word limit.
Joint projects must submit individual applications for full funding consideration.

Travel / Purchase Authorization:

Travel authorization form and/or Purchase authorization forms must be included with the grant proposal ONLY if the travel or purchase has already occurred.
Faculty whose proposals are awarded for upcoming travel will need to work with their department AC to complete the necessary forms in order to access the funds but do not need to submit them at the time of application.
