Fellowships

Fellowship Proposal Procedure

Fellowships are an important segment of research and scholarly activities conducted by CSUSM faculty. The faculty member or post-doctoral researcher interested in applying for extramural fellowship funding should contact the Office of Graduate Studies and Research (OGSR) Preaward staff for guidance and support during the application process.

Fellowships may be awarded directly to the applicant or may be channeled through the University to the awardees. However, there also may be occasions when a fellowship application must be submitted through the CSUSM Corporation Office of Sponsored Projects. Final determination regarding the appropriate processing of the application will be made by the Interim OGSR Dean.
