Meet the Greeks

Hosted on the first Tuesday of each semester during U-Hour! This is your chance to meet all of our Fraternities & Sororities on campus and learn more about each organization.  

Greek Week

This event is open to the public while allowing each fraternity and sorority to host a week of various friendly competition events, while raising awareness on a certain topic and giving back to the community.

FSL 101: New Member Education

Each new member of a fraternity or sorority is trained during FSL 101 which covers five major areas of education: alcohol/drugs, hazing, sexual assault, diversity/inclusion, and community development. Using videos, group activities, and reflection, new members are engaged in critical thinking and dialogue about how they can keep themselves and others safe while supporting a community welcoming of all.

Fraternity & Sorority Life Awards

The Fraternity & Sorority Life Awards are the annual recognition of the accomplishments of CSUSM fraternities and sororities as a whole, along with individual members, faculty, and staff.

Fraternity & Sorority Life Retreat

The FSL Retreat is for chapter presidents, council executive board members, and emerging leaders. The curriculum of this Retreat is based around the 6 pillars of FSL.

SLIC's Student Organization Leadership Conference

This training takes place annually in August. It provides training to officers of recognized student organizations, including fraternities and sororities. Visit the Student Organization Annual Recognition webpage for more information.
