FSL 101: New Member Education

Each new member of a fraternity or sorority is trained during FSL 101 which covers five major areas of education: alcohol/drugs, hazing, sexual assault, diversity/inclusion, and community development. Using videos, group activities, and reflection, new members are engaged in critical thinking and dialogue about how they can keep themselves and others safe while supporting a community welcoming of all.

Spring 2022: to be completed on Cougar Courses by Friday, April 22nd.

Fraternity & Sorority Life Awards

The Fraternity & Sorority Life Awards are the annual recognition of the accomplishments of CSUSM fraternities and sororities as a whole, along with individual members, faculty, and staff.  Find out more about our most recent award recipients

Fraternity & Sorority Life Retreat

The FSL Retreat is for chapter presidents, GLC delegate, and GLC executive board members. The curriculum of this Retreat is based around the 6 pillars of FSL.

Fall 2022: Thursday,  August 11th & Friday,  August 12th (held at the McMahan House)

SLIC's Student Organization Recognition Workshop

Fall 2022: August 17-18, 2022 (REQUIRED for all new Presidents and Treasurers)
