Online Training Module
The online student org training module offers detailed instructional tutorials on a variety of topics, including:

Whenever you have a question, we encourage you to start with this training module!
The online training module is required for student organization Presidents and Treasurers, but any other officer or organization member may complete the training.
Student Org Handbook
For an A-Z guide on all things student orgs, check out the Student Org Handbook! We encourage you to check the handbook if you can't find the answer anywhere else. If you can't find what you're looking for or still aren't sure after checking the handbook, contact SLIC.
Fall 2026 Workshops
SLIC will be hosting a series of workshops during the fall semester for student organization leaders to continue their learning and training.
Student Organizations who send a member to at least six (6) of the seven (7) available workshops will be eligible to receive supplemental funding from Associated Students, Inc. Please note the following attendance requirements:

- Organization members must arrive on time for each workshop and stay for the entire session to receive credit for attendance.
- Organizations may send a different member to each session. It is not required for the same person to attend all 6 workshops.
- Each workshop attendee may only represent one (1) organization at each workshop.
Note: All workshops will be held on Thursdays from 12:00 PM–12:50 PM, except for Hazing Prevention Week, where organizations only need to attend one of the available workshops that week.
- September 3rd: SLIC Open House

Description: Meet the SLIC team, learn about available student organization resources, and get connected with the support your organization needs for the year.
- September 17th: Event Planning
Time: 12:00-12:50PM
Location: SLIC Learning Lounge (USU 4200)
Description: Learn the basics of planning successful campus events, including reservations, timelines, logistics, and important campus procedures.
- September 21st-25th: National Hazing Prevention Week
Time: Various Times
Location: Various Locations
Please visit the National Hazing Prevention Week website to register for an event since space is limited.
Description: Learn how to recognize, prevent, and address hazing while building a safe and positive culture within your organization. Organizations only need to attend one workshop during the week (Monday through Thursday). Tabling visits do not count, must attend a workshop.
