Expansion/Extension

The Fraternity/Sorority Expansion Committee met in Fall 2024 to review and evaluate campus readiness for new organizations to join our community. This committee reviews campus readiness on annunal basis. The committee, along with the Multicultural Greek Council, have approved for expansion efforts starting Spring 2025.

• CSUSM Fraternity/Sorority Expansion Plan - this document outlines the overall campus expansion process in addition to outlining how the University and Student Leadership & Involvement Center will work in partnership to support and advise recognized Fraternity & Sorority organizations. Please use the Initial Request Form below as the primary reference.
• CSUSM Fraternity/Sorority Initial Request for Expansion - if an organization or group of students are interested in expanding to CSUSM, this form must be completed and submitted, along with a letter of interest to be considered by the committee.
• CSUSM Expansion Application Checklist - all required components to apply for expansion at CSUSM once approved by the Expansion Committee.
• CSUSM Fast Facts - an overview of the demographics of our University community.
• CSUSM Expansion Memo -  a memo sent to national umbrella groups and organizations who have expressed previous interest, notifying them of the opportunity to submit an application to join the CSUSM fraternity & sorority community.
