Professional Mentoring Program Mentees
One-on-One Mentoring
As a mentee, you have been matched with a working professional. It is your responsibilty to coordinate meetings with your mentor and decide together on when and where to meet for at least 1-2 hours a month.
- 1. Select your mentorThe application for the Professional Mentoring Program is April through August. Robyn Araiza, Director, will provide access to the PMP Check In website to select a mentor.
- 2. Meet with your mentorAt the first meeting, you will need to fill out the Mentorship Contract together.
- 3. Log your meetingsLog every meeting with your mentor using the One-on-One Session Reporting Form.
In Person Events
There will be a variety of workshops available that give mentees an opportunity to explore what career path they wish to take. It is important that you put these on your calendar and plan to attend! As a mentee, you are required to attend at least 6 events, between the one-on-one mentoring and the in-person events.
- 1. Attend the Kick Off Event
Hosted early in the semester, this is an opportunity to meet your mentor and other mentees in a business casual setting.
Fall 2023 Kick Off: Tuesday, September 8, from 5:00-8:00PM.

Monday, October 2, from 12-1PM: Mentee Workshop - Concepts and Constructs of Professionalism
