Professional Mentoring Program Mentees

One-on-One Mentoring

As a mentee, you have been matched with a working professional.  It is your responsibilty to coordinate meetings with your mentor and decide together on when and where to meet for at least 1-2 hours a month. 

Register at Mentor Collective and complete onboarding process to be matched. We highly encourage you to include you phone number as this sets up a masked text link to communicate with you mentor seamlessly.

In Person Events

There will be a variety of workshops available that give mentees an opportunity to explore what career path they wish to take.  It is important that you put these on your calendar and plan to attend!  As a mentee, you are required to attend at least 6 events, between the one-on-one mentoring and the in-person events.

  • 1. Attend the PMP Lunch & Learn Session

    ***MANDATORY FOR ALL 2026-27 PARTICIPANTS***

    • Learn about program expectations and what you need to do to make this program really work for YOU!
    • How to use your PMP platform to engage with your mentor.
    • Maximize the benefits of being a mentee in the Professional Mentoring Program.
    • Join us on Tuesday, September 15, from 12-12:50PM in ACD 102Lunch will be provided.
  • 2. Attend the Kick Off Event
    • Hosted early in the semester, this is an opportunity to meet your mentor and other mentees in a business casual setting.
    • Fall 2026 Kick Off:  Thursday, October 1, from 5:30-7:30PM in the USU Ballroom.
  • 3. Attend workshops

    Visit the Professional Mentoring Program website for career-related programming.  There are 2-3 Discussion Nights offered each semester and held in the STEM Success Center, Extended Learning Building, Suite 250.
