Welcome new nursing students!

Requirements

Health Compliance Requirements

Per the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the San Diego/Inland Empire Nursing Service Education Consortia, all nursing students must be in compliance with the requirements mandated by these organizations.  It is CSUSM School of Nursing's responsibility to ensure all students in our nursing programs are in compliance at all times.  Every semester we are audited by various clinical sites and must produce current student health compliance documents.

Most of the requirements, once met, will not expire for the duration of your nursing program, with the exception of TB, annual influenza vaccination and CPR.
