Donations
At CSUSM, we are striving towards a goal of Zero Waste by 2025. As part of achieving this objective, we are working in collaboration with other programs across campus to ensure all items are distributed properly, and that all waste is disposed of properly. Lightly used items coming from offices and other spaces on campus, can often be donated back out to the campus community through various programs. If you are interested in making a donation on campus, please use the information below as a guide.
Donating to Zero Waste Program
- Miscellaneous small to medium-sized items (such as office supplies, clothes, party
supplies, books, etc.)
These items can be requested for pickup through our Zero Waste Donation Pick up form.
- Large furniture pieces (such as couches, chairs, desks, etc.)
Furniture can be picked up through the PDC office after submitting a pickup request online.
- Electronics and e-waste
Please email Distribution Services at distributionservices@csusm.edu to schedule an e-waste pick up.
Note: Anything that has a “cord” but does not work anymore can go through this channel.
