The Office of Inclusive Excellence is beginning to work on the third Beyond the Stereotype
campaign and are seeking those with interest/expertise in areas of spirituality/religion
to join the planning committee. The committee is open to faculty, staff and students.
In 2015, the Beyond the Stereotype campaign has played an important role on campus in engendering challenging conversations among faculty, staff and students around issues of stereotyping and bias. The first campaign addressed race/ethnicity and cultural appropriation while the second campaign, “There." The campaign strives to be socially relevant, taking on issues that are timely, pressing and in need of conversation.
We anticipate completing the plan this semester with implementation in Fall 2020.
