  • Internship Objectives
    • Provide students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that build essential workforce skills through summer or semester internships. Summer placements offer a valuable break from academic theory while allowing students to gain practical experience in their field. 
    • Offer a range of STEM-specific internships that give students access to at least three months of paid, full-time or part-time work experience. 
    • Create opportunities for students to explore potential career paths while completing their studies, helping them enter their first full-time roles with a clearer understanding of how their strengths align with different positions. 
    • Enable students to connect with industry professionals, gain insight into workplace cultures, and develop an understanding of key industries in their field. 
    • Foster a culture of career readiness across the university by building strong partnerships with employers and community organizations.
